Welcome to my photographic coverage of the bushfires that swept across eastern NSW over Christmas 2001. This coverage summary concentrates on documenting the wide variety of Fire Services that assisted in various forms during the fire fighting effort. This site features photos from as many services as possible.
For non Fire Photos, see the relevant service's section. This applies for the NSW Ambulance, Police and SES sections. More fire photos can be seen in each service's section of Erk's Emergency Photos website. This is purely for space restraint reasons.
As I am a local resident of the Nepean area, I concentrated on covering activities in this area. However, I am not putting myself or anyone else at risk by taking these photos. This site will predominately feature vehicles. It will not feature photos of burnt houses etc. I'd like this site to be a personal tribute to all of the Emergency Services Workers and Volunteers that worked tirelessly during this time in difficult circumstances.
