NSW Fire Brigade - Nepean

Here is a selection of photos taken at various locations in the Nepean area in Western Sydney of NSW Fire Brigade Appliances during the bushfires that affected various areas of NSW. More photos soon.

NSWFB International Pumper from Bellbird in the Hunter Valley enroute to a bushfire in Mulgoa, Boxing Day.
NSWFB Penrith's Aerial Pumper at Glenmore Park after attending a bushfire at Mulgoa, Boxing Day.
Due to the extra resources required and the need to maintain existing coverage, extra firefighters were called in and Service Exchange Vehicles were used in addition to normal allocations. These photos are a good case in point at Penrith Fire station on Boxing Day. In both photos is a Kenworth Telesquirt from the SEV fleet and in the bottom photo is Penrith's Scania Aerial Pumper.

An International Pumper attached to the SEV Fleet arrives at Regentville Fire station on Boxing Day.
Dunheved's Firepac (complete with Christmas decorations) at Glenmore Park enroute to a fire at Mulgoa on Boxing Day.
Avalon Beach's Scania Pumper at Regentville Fire station, 30 December 2001. It is very unusual to see a station's name on an appliance that is painted in the older colour scheme.
